I keep seeing all these Obama supporters and wonder why? They seem to be against being a conservative and I wonder why? What really is Obama doing for this country?

This is what I see:

• Debt being ran up at an staggering rate
• Money wasted on programs that are worthless
• Dems working on their own agenda, spite what Americans think
• Socialism in government having monetary interest in companies
• Health care regulation that makes no sense in our current state
• A never ending war still being fought
• Unemployment still a problem
• Dems pushing policy while chuckling at the Constitution

Then to beat it all, these same supporters of Obama still blame Bush for our current state.

Please, someone enlighten me as to what is so great about our president???

I was talking with someone the other day and the only issue we seemed to agree on is the fact that the health care system is broke.

I am a firm believer in capitalism! No matter how painful this may be to some, I believe that we can fix the problem with health care and keep capitalism in mind. When I think about the way the bill is headed, I think socialism! Why do we all feel as if we have an entitlement to something? Really, the only true thing that can be said about life is the fact that will will indeed live and die at some point. Now I do have no issue with helping those in need.

Let’s take a look what may happen if this bill in current form passes:

1. Cost to small companies in America are going to rise causing a painful chain reaction
2. Large companies are going to lose large sums of money if we assume this system will be based off a percentage (let’s take a measly 5% increase in tax, 5% of a billion dollar company is a lot of money)
3. Because companies are forced to pay a higher tax rate, hours will be cut and those whom do have insurance now may be dropped to hours that may no longer require the company to pay for insurance (like blue cross blue shield etc..)
4. Insurance companies may not be able to compete, kills free market

Some other things that be a direct result of the bill are things like assisted suicide. Imagine being diagnosed with a terminal illness and going to your doctor only to be told that in the name of being patriotic and saving Americans money that you should check into an assisted suicide program, may seem far fetched but I would not put it past our government.

I do notice there are some people whom like the idea of this bill. I would like to ask those people if they will still like it when millions of people lose their jobs? Or when we run the deficit up even higher if they feel the same? As said many times on this site, the government has no clue on how to run a successful program.

Wake up people, this is not a save all this is a beginning of a new world headed by socialists!

The good news about the health debate and the fact that the democrats are trying to push the bill using not so honest tactics is the people are noticing.

Seems as if people are starting to come together and disagree on the health bill. This is good news. This shows a willingness to come together and agree on something. Let’s take this a step further and get something done!

Healthcare has been a debate that has been going on for awhile. We have this person saying “it will save money here” and this other person saying “it will cost to much”. Really, either save or cost it is a lose for the American people!

We have 2 choices in healthcare. We can either let the more wealthy support the healthcare system or we could simply let everyone pay the same amount. The latter will not work in a mandatory system because many families have a hard time just making ends meet.

I watch the debates and understand where the importance in the matter may come from, but at the same time I want a system that is fair and balanced or just forget it! I don’t think it is fair for the wealthy of this country to be strong-armed into paying for something that they may not support and or want to support.

One side of me wants to have full support for Capitalism on the matter and another says that is what we are doing and it is not working. The cost of health insurance has skyrocketed to a point that is hard for many to afford, if they do afford the insurance the deductible is so high that it is almost impossible to pay. What gives?

What can we do as Americans to fix the problem? It all comes down to the almighty dollar no matter how the system is ran. This is not for the best interest of you or me, It is for the bottom line!

What do we the people do?

Watching a news program last night and listening to the people complain how some of the companies that were bailed out are now making profits. Something that really attracted my attention was when they said that we should make sure that the profits go to support mankind. I got a kick out of that!

So let’s see… I am forced to give money to a bunch of people in Washington that have no earthly idea how to manage my money, yet I should somehow see our investment in companies that were failing as a way to benefit mankind? Give me a break!

Pay for the Government to waste money or bailout someone that may actually need the money? Even though when I first heard of the bailouts it kinda ticked me off, now I believe that was the better of 2 evils (least it did save some jobs).

Seems as if everything in this country leads to a bigger agenda! Next we will take money from everyone in the name of “saving mankind” and no one will think twice about it because this mentality has been introduced.

Wake up people! Socialism is on the rise…Lol

Here we have two very different subjects and yet they are very common. I came up with a theory last night (through actual conversations) that I believe may explain a lot of our problems.

I don’t follow a specific Religious sect, at the same time I believe I am very in touch with my beliefs. Some may say what I believe may lead to some not so great things in the afterlife according to way they may believe, I am fine with this.

Many of my conversations about Religion often end in someone becoming angry. This is because I often try and draw a line in what is Faith and what is factual. We cannot as a people know what comes at the point of death. We also cannot cast stones at others for having a belief system that does not fall into what you may believe because what you believe in is based on faith and not fact.

Let’s take Christians for instance. They believe in the Bible and develop faith based on what they read. There is no hard fact that can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that what you may believe is in fact the truth. This is why it is Faith.

With our Government we have to have faith that our system is following our Constitution and doing things with the best interest of us in a whole in mind. Now we do have a piece of paper that does indeed say “We the people”, but there is no real way to know that this is being acted on down to the word. We have to trust our Government to be fair and base law and such things with the Constitution in mind.

How can we be a society that cannot see the fine line between faith and fact, yet we expect to fix our problems? We are so caught up in what we believe that it becomes easier as a people to just cast stones and “feel” everything is going to be okay based on faith.

There is nothing wrong with faith, we should all have something to believe in. At the same time, I feel as if faith has only put us in the hole we are in. We have tons of fact that tells us we are truly in trouble. Faith is our way of saying we are the “land of the free” and letting no fact get in the way of that belief.

Dear Google hater,

There was a comment made by the CEO of Google that some people did not like. Not one time in any of the complaints about privacy did I hear anyone mention the anti-privacy we go through everyday.

See, Mr/Mrs hater, the problem is that everything you do is subject to being investigated by the government. If you use a credit card you can be tracked, reading this message you can be tracked, have cable television and a billing address? Guess what, you to can be tracked!

This is a problem! You have folks like myself and this site trying to warn you to the problems with America and the only time you hear the problems is when a CEO of some company states the obvious then all the sudden that company is bad and the CEO is an as***** for telling you the truth.

It is not Google that has a problem, it is our policies that invade on your personal liberties. Hate Google all you want but they are not the problem!

We as a nation need to stop this BS! I read all over the place “Do something with you time instead of_______” or “Smokers should all die” or “You need a better ________ what you got is____”! You know what? We can never fix this country when the people who live in it are guilty of the same things our government does!

I want you, the government and everyone else out of my life! Not just the government, NOPE! I want freedom, freedom to make my very own choices, freedom to make my own mistakes, freedom to live and die as I please! I don’t need anyone to point out the rights and wrongs to me! I don’t care if you like my lifestyle because it is just that…MY LIFESTYLE!
